Grand Canyon West is becoming more and more popular each year due to the following reasons:

  1. It is only 3 hours from Las Vegas. Visitors can visit the Grand Canyon National Park and still have plenty of time to enjoy a wonderful evening in Las Vegas. We normally return to Las Vegas around 5 PM.
  2. The road condition has improved. In the earlier years, one almost must have an SUV with off road tires to drive there. Now the road is paved, making the journey much more enjoyable.
  3. The Skywalk* is a great addition to the Grand Canyon West. Experience the majestic wonders of the West Rim while standing on the “glass bridge”. The Skywalk is a U-shaped glass bridge that extends 70 feet beyond the rim of the Grand Canyon, giving visitors a full view of the 3,200 foot drop in to the Colorado River on the Canyon floor.

*The Hualapai Tribe collects fees to enter any part of the reservation as certain parts of the reservation are restricted to the general public. All fees are subject to change at any time.

Tour includes a 15-20 photo opportunity at the Hoover Dam.

Along with a great tour, the driver provided about two hours of history while driving. The trip was cut short from COVID but the West Rim was great.
